Talking ‘bout a revolution for Forest’s youth

Join the revolution

There’s a ‘green’ revolution taking place among local young people – but they need everybody’s support.

The EDGE Project is in the running to receive a £5000 cash bonus from the Co-operative’s Join The Revolution campaign.

If successful, the funding will be spent creating and developing green spaces in Hampshire, including the New Forest, to promote a healthier lifestyle for the community.
Unused plots of land which are attached to local art galleries, museums and libraries will be transformed into a ‘living piece of art’ to be enjoyed by everybody.

The Edge Project will use materials sourced from local businesses and the young people will work together, promoting sustainability, recycling, waste management and offering creative solutions to growing.

The green spaces will be free for everybody to enjoy and there will be opportunities for children’s workshops, educational talks and local events.

But The Edge needs YOUR vote – and you only have until May 29 to lend your support. Go online at www.co-operative.coop/join-the-revolution/the-edge-project/ to vote and to find out more about the Co-operative’s initiative.
