Elections cross
Make your vote count

Next year you’ll have the opportunity to take part in the local elections and possibly a referendum on the voting system for the UK Parliament.

Residents across the New Forest have been sent their annual voter registration forms that will give each person a voice on the local issues that affect them at town, parish and district level. If you haven’t returned your form you will soon have someone knocking on your door encouraging you to reply.

It’s easy to register - Just update the form with the details of everyone in your household who is eligible to vote and return the form to New Forest District Council as soon as possible. If your details haven’t changed, you can also reply by phone or via the internet. – voting too can be by post or at a polling station. And be assured, voting in elections is safe and secure.
